NEW PASSPORT REQUIREMENT

PACKING LIST
ARRIVAL IN CABO

NEW PASSPORT REQUIREMENT:
Beginning January 23, 2007 all U.S. Citizens who travel by air to or from Mexico will be required to present a valid U.S. Passport in order to leave and re-enter the country.

How do I get a Passport? United States citizens can visit the State Department's travel website www.travel.state.gov, or call the U.S. National Passport Information Center: 1-877-4USA-PPT.

You should allow yourself a sufficient amount of time to apply and receive your passport in advance of travel. Please allow 6 weeks for processing of your passport application if you apply from inside the U.S. If you need to travel urgently and require a passport sooner, please visit www.travel.state.gov for additional information. Overseas passport processing times vary; you should contact the closest U.S. Embassy or Consulate for specific information.

Peak domestic passport processing is between January and July. For faster service, we recommend applying between August and December.

Foreign nationals should contact their respective governments to obtain passports.

DEPARTURE:
Please arrive at the airport at least 2-1/2 hours prior to the departure of your first flight.

Be sure to have your passport and travel documents with you at time of check-in.

You will receive additional instructions on your travel itinerary that will be emailed to you at least 14 days prior to departure.

BAGGAGE LIMITS:
The airlines provide a baggage allowance of 1-2 checked bags with various weight limitations plus one carry-on. Check with your airline to find out the baggage allowance that applies to you. Please make sure your bags have ID tags with your name, address and phone number.

PACKING LIST:
In March the average daytime temperature is 80-85F, although it usually feels quite a bit warmer; nighttime is around 70-75F. Currency exchange rate is approximately 10.5 pesos per US dollar. Wait until you get to Cabo before exchanging money. Like most of the world, the US dollar is widely accepted in Cabo. Most restaurants, hotels and stores accept Visa and Mastercard. Many also take American Express. There are also several ATMs in town for your convenience, including one located in the lobby of the Tesoro Los Cabos hotel.

We recommend that you bring the following items:

1. Passport & travel documents
2. Sunscreen
3. Sunglasses
4. Disposable camera(s) with flash
5. Basic toiletries
6. Hat or visor
7. Bathing suit for beach or pool
8. Lightweight, light-colored clothes for daytime
9. Lightweight clothes &/or club wear for nighttime
10. Beach towel (optional -most hotels provide them)
11. Sandals or flip-flops
12. Comfortable walking shoes
13. Between $40-100+ per day for food, entertainment and shopping
14. Credit card (for hotel -- one card per room is required)
15. Any other items you need
Cabo is very casual. You can go just about anywhere, anytime in a T-shirt, shorts and flip-flops. However, if you plan to dine at one of the many fine restaurants or an upscale nightclub, you should bring nicer clothes (i.e. long pants & collared shirt for guys; sundress/casual dress for girls). There are plenty of pharmacies and markets to buy just about anything you might need during your trip. If you use prescription medications bring them in their original containers.

Our staff knows where to go for just about any product or service you may need.

Although Cabo is one of the safest resorts in Mexico, avoid bringing valuable jewelry or other items. The hotel rooms are safe and secure. Hotels offer lock-boxes or in-room safes for your added security. While the drinking age is only 18 in Mexico, you must bring your 18+ ID with you at all times. Many bars card during Spring Break. Plus it's a good idea for safely purposes.

ARRIVAL IN CABO:
Our staff will greet you upon your arrival at the San Jose del Cabo airport. We will provide transportation to your hotels using coaches and vans stocked with refreshments. At this time we will give you the Party Itinerary, Trip Wristband and famous Party Passport.

Our onsite staff is friendly and knowledgeable and omnipresent at our hotels and events. They can advise you on where to go, what to do and make you feel at home during your stay. We have a year-round office and a seasonal Spring Break office in Cabo to assist you. With years of experience in Cabo, we're there to make sure you make fond memories you'll never forget.
